San Francisco -> New York

After resigning in August and jumping over to San Francisco for a month, I’m headed back to New York tonight.  I’m excited to come home to friends, and I feel I’ve only scratched the surface of what’s possible here in SF.  I’m excited for the opportunity to keep learning from everyone I’ve met here.  There is a special energy among so many new friends; I’ve been inspired by their dedication and openness and I hope to carry that back home with me.

When I came out here, Zach asked me point blank what I’d be up to.  I responded with a crazy list that quickly narrowed to three priorities:

  • Meet & learn from as many people as possible
  • Find an exciting project to work on
  • Do some exercise for the first time in a year

I’m beside myself with how well these goals have been fulfilled (well, maybe only the first two), and looking back I think I was just a bystander in achieving them.

Stephen & I are having a party on the 27th in good old Tribeca, and I hope you show up.  It’s been a month!  Is anything new since I’ve been away?
